As a clinical therapist trained in DBT, Trauma-focused CBT, and utilizing other client-centered approaches, I strive to model grace and compassion no matter what brings you to Your Story Counseling. I have experience working with individuals throughout their lifespans. I hope to assist my clients in building understanding for themselves as we heal with compassion. I strive to bring an environment of safety for clients to become excited about change, even though change can be difficult! We all have a story, and I look forward to accompanying you on the journey of understanding and growth.
I look forward to working with and attending to each client's unique needs. I strive to help clients to navigate life's challenges through collective efforts of collaboration to identify needs and build healthy coping strategies, prioritizing change, life transitions, grieving a death, loss of health, family conflict, or that one next thing that drives you into overwhelm.
Working with an integrative, holistic approach and psychoeducation, I believe we can learn to heal symptoms of anxiety, depression, or mood disorders, self-esteem, coping with a life transition, childhood trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, and hoarding behaviors—all which are areas my professional experience and knowledge.
When working with a client or family, I want to bring a solid evidence-based approach to a calm, peaceful therapy space where each client feels heard, safe, and able to gain compassion for themselves and show grace to themselves during the healing process. To my clients, I offer a judgment-free space to explore the why and the how to heal and move forward.
