SOCIAL SKILLS 101
*Update: this group has been postponed until further notice!
We are currently exploring possibly moving this group to a new date. If you want to receive updates or attend a future social skills group, please submit your name via the contact form below.
We are calling all elementary school kids to join us to expand our knowledge on socializing with others. This group was developed for students to learn new skills and build new friendships. We all know how difficult it can be to discuss feelings and disagreements, so we hope to lend students the skills and tools they need (through the “STEP” process) to learn conversational skills in a trusted space and amongst new peers, hopefully forming new friendships!
We focus on peer relations, handling complex emotions, frustration with self or others, social confidence, and friendship development. Group price is $40/session.
