But it is in support of others that we learn the importance of this chapter we are in and the transformative healing it can bring. \nTOPICS WE DISCUSS: \n\nOpening up to the reality of our grief and loss. \nDismantling the myths of grief and how one thinks they are “supposed to feel.” \nHow we understand and honor the uniqueness of our grieving process\, including where we are today.\nRecognizing and learning our needs in mourning.\nNurturing a transformation that allows you to value the journey you are on in grief.\n\nThis group supports individuals (ages 18+) who have experienced grief & loss\, whether through death\, job loss\, pet loss\, or other major life transitions\, that may be feeling alone through their grieving process. DESCRIPTION:   Caregiver Support Group\nStarting: Wednesday\, November 13th\, 2024\nTime: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. In-person and online\n\nCaring for a loved one can be a rewarding yet challenging time. We understand the unique and added pressures often felt in this role. The increased responsibility\, change in family life\, financial burden\, isolation\, and grief can be demanding for any individual to navigate on their own. \nWe provide a community of support to caregivers with relevant resources and compassionate space to nurture their emotional and physical wellness. We hope this group allows you to replenish and connect with fellow caregivers. \nParticipants are welcome to join at any time!\nOur caregiver support group is an open drop-in support group\, meaning individuals are welcome to join us anytime throughout the year. The group will run every Wednesday\, beginning November 13th\, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.\nGroup Cost: $10/session \nProgram Information & Facilitator:\nSara Egan\, LCSW | Group developer and facilitator – “Life is a journey that sometimes presents challenges and roadblocks\, big and small. DESCRIPTION:YOU’RE NOT ALONE IN YOUR GRIEF.  \nEvery individual will process the complexity of their grief uniquely. That’s because the experience of losing someone we love is never simple. It often provokes us to have thoughts and emotions that are confusing\, painful\, or hard to talk about with others. But it is in support of others that we learn the importance of this chapter we are in and the transformative healing it can bring. \nTOPICS WE DISCUSS: \n\nOpening up to the reality of our grief and loss. \nDismantling the myths of grief and how one thinks they are “supposed to feel.” \nHow we understand and honor the uniqueness of our grieving process\, including where we are today.\nRecognizing and learning our needs in mourning.\nNurturing a transformation that allows you to value the journey you are on in grief.\n\nThis group supports individuals (ages 18+) who have experienced grief & loss\, whether through death\, job loss\, pet loss\, or other major life transitions\, that may be feeling alone through their grieving process. We understand the loneliness one often experiences in the grieving process\, and we invite anyone looking for a sense of community at this time to reach out to us.  \nOur Grief & Loss support group offers individuals like you who are processing how to cope and heal through their grief. Let’s gather in our grief so together; we may heal without the shame or blame of learning to let go and become whole again. \n *All of our group facilitators have lived with the experience that their group supports. \nThis group is ongoing throughout 2024 and offered as an open format for individuals to come as often or as little as possible.
